Fracture Youth Theatre, Thurles - Would You Like To Be Involved?

THE Fracture Youth Theatre is inviting young people (aged 13-17 years) in the Thurles area interested in theatre to attend a drama workshop in The Source Arts Centre, Thurles on Saturday, September 15th from 3-pm.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide an introduction to the project so that potential new members can take part in a workshop prior to committing to the autumn-winter term.

This taster workshop is free and anyone wishing to join Youth Theatre for the term will be asked to contribute just E40 each. Membership is open to young people in second level education or aged 13-17 years.

This term the focus for Youth Theatre will be on improvisations, theatre games, performance, voice and movement. The workshops will be facilitated by Youth Theatre Facilitators Joanne Quinn and Aoife Carry.

No drama experience is necessary, so if you fancy yourself treading the boards, working backstage or simply want to have fun on a Saturday why not come along to the workshop to get a flavour of Youth Theatre.

New members are welcome, but places are limited so don’t delay. To book your place contact the Arts Office, North Tipperary County Council on 067 44860.

The North Tipperary Youth Theatre Project is run by the Arts Office, North Tipperary County Council as part of the County Arts Development Programme. This programme is supported by the Arts Council.
