Davitt Country Band Launch New Album At The Racket Hall

Seldom does a group of musicians receive such excitement for a new album - especially amongst such a young fan base!

And, sure, why wouldn’t they?

It’s in their blood!

The Davitt Country Band is the next generation of musicians from the well-known Davitt family from Wexford who dominated the dancehalls from the 1950s right up to the 1990s.

The Davitt Country Band is a young, fresh outfit who’s average age is in the upper teens!

According to Bob Harris from Ampersand Music USA “the Davitt Country Band are an exciting, vibrant and exhilarating band of young men that look set to mesmerize the country music dancehalls all over again with their popular country, Irish and show-band sound”.

The Davitt Country Band look set to take the country music scene by storm when they launch their much-anticipated new album Marlena on Thursday 15th November at the Racket Hall Hotel, Roscrea.
