ConneX 12 - ST Youth Arts Programme

Connex 12, South Tipperary County Council’s Youth Arts Programme, is well under way and arts events have been taking place throughout the county during the month of November, a highlight still to come is a workshop with Royseven for young people 13yrs - 18yrs at Tipperary Excel on Friday 23rd Nov from 4.30-6pm.

The workshop will be a one hour interactive discussion about the band’s journey from beginning to the present day. It will refer to topics such as writing songs, securing a record deal, touring, making videos, the reality vs myth of being in a band and a few funny anecdotes along the way.

Interspersed with songs performed acoustically by the band, at the end of the session, all those who brought instruments with them, will be invited to join the band and perform an ensemble version of their track: “Killer”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUvlRWskhVM.
