Blackbull Threshing Festival Presentation Night

The Blackbull Threshing Festival had its 10th presentation night on Friday 5th October in Brereton’s pub, Ballybritt.

This year the main presentation was made to the Coolderry Village Restoration project. They received J21,000 towards to their project and are wished every success with it. The Charities chosen for this year were Lough Derg Search and Recovery, Tom Shaw accepted the cheque for J1,000 for this charity and Console Suicide Aware, Rev. Michael Johnson accept the cheque for J1,000. In addition to these charities a cheque was presented to Berna Dempsey from the Coolderry Hall Committee for J500. This money will be used towards funding the Senior Citizens Christmas party. The Threshing festival committee would like to thank everybody for their continued support throughout the year and hope there will be many more years to come.
