Summer Solstice walk in Upperchurch
Last weekend, the recent trend for very liquid summers was reinforced as it bucketed down before the start of our Thurles Friday walk. Nevertheless, we had 27 participants joining in on our the walk from Golden to Cashel, which was organised by Rural Recreation Officer, John Egan as part of the “Go Walking Tipperary” series.
Craft Gathering Exhibition
John Lonergan, author and former Governor of Mountjoy Prison, will launch the South East Craft Gathering - an exhibition of the best craft from the South East of Ireland at the Craft Granary, Church St, Cahir at 7pm on July 4th. The launch will also be used to raise money for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
Arthritis Ireland - West Tipperary Branch
The West Tipperary branch of Arthritis Ireland will be holding the next Rheumatoid Arthritis/Osteoarthritis coffee morning on Wednesday 26th June at 11am in the Cavery Cafe in the Tipperary Shopping Centre.
