Grandparents Day At St. Joseph’s Primary School
We would like to thank all our parents, grandparents and great grandparents for turning out in such great numbers last Wednesday 30th January.
It was a wonderful occasion for all. Sincere thanks to Fr Walton who held a prayer service in honour of our grandparents. Gratitude is extended to grandparents John Walsh and Tony O’Toole for talking to us
about their early memories of school and growing up. John Walsh spoke very warmly about his early memories of school in St. Joseph’s, how his sister took care of him during those first few days and had the entire audience in laughter as he spoke about some of the antics that class got up to particularly when the teacher wasn’t looking!!
