Coffee Morning - Urlingford I.C.A. are holding a Coffee Morning in Doyle’s Bar tomorrow (Thursday) which is National Coffee Day in aid of Hospice from 10.30 to 12.30. Cake Sale and Raffle. Your support will be much appreciated.

Cards - A great game of cards every Monday night in Urlingford Community Centre. All card players will be very welcome. Proceeds in aid of parish funds. Please bring your friend for a great night out.

Location of Defibrillator - While Graine Hall is being redeveloped the defibrillator will be located in the Church Sacristy. Key holders are, Annie Pembroke, Canon Dunphy, Helen Leahy, Fr. O. Maher.

Kilkenny & Carlow Contact - Kilkenny and Carlow Contact is a community based voluntary organisation for older people covering the Kilkenny and Carlow area, and we are looking for additional volunteers to commit to one or two hours per week to befriend/visit older people who live alone in your area. We will have a stand at the Information Day for Older People being held in the Mill Family Resource Centre tomorrow (Thursday). Spinning Classes - Started Monday, September 17th at 7.30pm and Wednesday at 7pm. 8 week course, E70 for one class per week or E100 for two classes per week. Boot camp on Wednesday 7.45pm, E5 per class. All fitness levels catered for. Crosspatrick Hall (45 min class). Contact Susan (086) 3204208.

Mill Family Resource Centre - Now looking for new volunteers for the Youth Section one evening per week; Basic English for Foreign Nationals. Positive Parenting, We are providing a 6 week Positive Parenting Class starting from the September 6th to October 18th. Help build confidence in your children. Information for Elderly/Active Retirement, We are holding an information service for the Elderly/Active Retirement on Thursday, September 20th at 2pm which will cover items such as HSE, County Council, Task, Saorview etc. Tea and Coffee will be provided. Mill Youth Project, Re-opening on October 1st every Monday evening. Ages 10-12 years, 6.30 to 7.45pm. 1st year upwards 8 to 9pm. All welcome. Bible TImeline - (Story of Salvation). A 24-week DVD (with study notes) Bible Study course will commence in Urlingford towards the end of September and will finish at Easter 2013. Once a week at the venue (to be decided as well as cost) and one night at home. It will cover the Old and New Testaments and is divided into 12 colour-coded time periods to simplify it. Once we get a grasp of the ‘big picture’ the Mass readings begin to make more sense and our scripture reading and study come to life.
