Coffee afternoon - A Coffee afternoon in aid of Milford Hospice will be hosted in Mary and David Brosnan’s home on Saturday, October 6th from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. All are welcome to come along and support this worthy cause.
Sympathy - We extend the sympathy of the community to Mrs. Geraldine O’Brien, Killenaive on the death last week of her mother, Mrs. Hilda O’Rourke.
We also extend the sympathy of the community to Ned Buckley, Ballyvandron, Ballinaclough, Sr. Buckley, England, the Buckley family, Lisgoriff, Killeen, the Fogarty families, Gurrane, Ballinaclough, Kilkeary and the nieces and extended family of the late Jack Buckley, Curraleigh who was laid to rest on Sunday last in Killenaive.
October Anniversary Mass - The Anniversary Mass for all those whose anniversaries occur in October will be celebrated on Saturday evening, October 13th, with names for those you wish to have included please call Mary Brosnan as soon as possible.
Talk for Parents - A talk for the parents of this years First Communion and Confirmation Children will take place on Wednesday night next in Templederry National School at 8.30 p.m. This talk will be delivered by Fr. Brendan Quinlivan, Scariff.

Fundraising - A Fundraising event in aid of Templederry Community Pre School will be held in Michael Hogan’s, Templederry on Friday night, October 12th. Dancing from 9.30 p.m. to 12 .30 a.m. Music is by ‘Outta Diesel’ and admission is 5 euro. Your support would be much appreciated.
Killenaive N.S. - The Annual Church Gate collection for Killenaive National School will be held on Sunday next, September 30th at Killeen Mass.
Irish Wheelchair Association - The Irish Wheelchair Association will resume its Outreach Service in the Pastoral Centre, Nenagh on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. This service provides a meeting place for people with physical and sensory disability where activity includes light exercise in the morning and recreational or educational programmes in the afternoon. Irish Blood Transfusion Service - The Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be holding a Blood Donor Clinic in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh on Monday, 1st October from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from Tuesday, 2nd October to Thursday, 4th October inclusive from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 3,000 units of blood are required each week.
Templederry New Cemetery - The rota for September is as follows, Nicholas Ryan, Terry Ryan, Denis and Mark Ryan, The Fields, Paddy Kinane & Co. The Rota for October is as follows, Tim McLoughney, Glentane. Kieran Kennedy and Paddy Harrington & Co.
