Garden Club - Thanks to Linda Kelly, Horticulturist who was guest speaker at meeting of club, she gave a very informative talk on preparing our gardens for the winter and planting flower bulbs for the spring.

Demonstration on planting spring bulbs in window boxes and donated them to be raffled. Winner of window box was Ann Leahy, winners of flower plants, Mary Ryan, Kathleen Fanning, Lena Slattery. Next meeting of club on Tuesday, 16th October in Ardagh House 8pm (note change of date) Bring and buy sale.

Diamond Jubilee - On Wednesday, 19th September members of the Local I.C.A. guild celebrated their 60th Anniversary in Raheen House Clonmel. Peggy O’Brien, South Tipperary Federation President was guest of honour who congratulated the guild for its involvement in I.C.A. through all those years and Peggy presented Certificate of Congratulations from the I.C.A. Central Office to Lily Barrett, President. Thanks to Mark and the staff at Raheen House for a delicious meal and to John Kelly for his help.
