Holycross - Ballycahill

Scór na bPáistí -

Holycross Ballycahill Parish Scór took place last Saturday night, 26th January in the Community Centre, Holycross. A great night was had by all, with lots of children from Holycross, Ballycahill and Gaile schools coming together to showcase their many talents. Thanks to all our sponsors on the night – Holycross Stores, Parkers Restaurant, The Tara Restaurant, The Toy Box and Thurles Milk. Thanks also to the many parents/teenagers who donated cakes and buns, catered in the kitchen and worked on the floor. Thanks to the school, teachers/staff for helping co-ordinate information and organise children into various categories. Finally we would like to thank the Holycross/Ballycahill G.A.A. Club (Juvenile and Senior) for their support in reviving the Scór in the parish. All help was much appreciated.

The Mid Semi Final of Scór na bPáistí will take place in Holycross Community Centre this Saturday night 2nd February at 7.30 pm. It is great to see that we have almost all categories represented by the parish. It promises to be a great night’s entertainment and we would encourage you to come and support the local young talent. Best of luck to all concerned and looking forward to seeing you on Saturday night.
