Felicitations - To Francis Glasheen, Beakstown on the occasion of his recent wedding in the Abbey to Edel Dillon, Lisnagrough. They are wished every happiness, good health, good luck and many years of wedded bliss.

Somewhat of a Mess - The residents in Grange are inconvenienced presently due to the installation of water piles on their road in preparation for the sourcing of extra water to the reservoir. The road is temporarily closed at Bohernacrusha, residents gain access to Grange by travelling on the Glenreigh Road. Of course the bad weather we are having is not conducive to this kind of work, with machinery, trucks, sand and clay causing dirt, muck and mess. When completed all will be happy, the area should have good supplies of water in the future thanks to the County Council and thanks also for the neat patch work covering the five pot holes on the road approaching the back of the Abbey. Work done is much appreciated.
