Golden - Kilfeacle

Congratulations - Congratulations to Killian Farrell a past pupil of Thomastown National School and Rockwell College who has been awarded ‘Ad Astra’ Scholarship in recognition of his outstanding results in his leaving certificate 2012. Killian is studying veterinary in U.C.D.

Gum Shields - This year the G.A.A. requires that all Juvenile players playing football must wear gum shields both at training and matches.

Dates for your Diary - Thomastown and Golden National Schools, Confirmation - May 8th, First Holy Communion - May 19th.

Juvenile G.A.A. - The A.G.M. will take place on 9th February at 8.15pm in the Community Hall Golden. Anybody interested in officer or selector roles must fill in a nomination form which can be obtained from Chairman or Secretary and return to Chairman or Secretary by January 25th along with Garda Vetting form.

Golden Kilfeacle GAA Club - Queen of the Suir Festival, The Festival Committee are delighted to let everyoe know the dates for the 2013 Festival being Wednesday, May 29th to Sunday, June 2nd. This is the June bank holiday weekend. We will be organising our festival around ‘The Gathering Ireland 2013’. Lots more info in the weeks to come.
