Hospice - The friends of the Hospice will host a Coffee Morning in the Cornerstone Bar, Golden on Thursday, September 20th from 10.30 am to 12.30. Your support for South Tipperary Hospice will be much appreciated.

Golden/Kilfeacle Rugby - South Tipp Hospice would like to say Thank you to Johnny Luby and those who helped contribute €430 to the Hospice. The Rugby season has now resumed with youngsters starting at 7pm each Friday. The Seniors are on at 7.30pm on Wed and Friday. The 1st team have started well with victories over Galbally and Clanwilliam. Stephen Flood, Charles Walsh, Diarmuid Carr, Jack Sullivan, Gerard Luby and 1st team captain Shane Luby are all playing well. Best wishes for the future to the Tierney family heading to Australia soon. Sympathy to the Bargary family on the death of their mum Maureen. May she rest in peace. Club Lotto will begin shortly and hoping for your support.

Golden/Kilfeacle Senior Citizens - The Annual Church gate collection in aid of the Senior Citizens Christmas party will be held on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd September at both churches. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Cardio Fitness Class - A Cardio Fitness class will commence in the Community Hall, Kilfeacle on Tuesday, September 25th for six weeks. Class 7pm to 7.45pm. €45. For further details contact Clodagh (086) 77074882.

Going to College in Cork - Student coach commenced on Sunday, September 16th. Bus will leave Cashel at 6.30pm sharp. Transport direct to student accommodation areas. Bus returning every Friday. Contact Mulcahys (062) 61662 or (087) 2522550.

Golden Bingo - Bingo continues each Thursday night in the Hall with Lucky Number. Come along to enjoy and chance your luck.

Junior Certificate - Congratulations to the all the boys and girls from the Parish on their Junior Certificate results.

Kilfeacle Tennis news - Congratulations to our Ladies 4A Team who recently won the final of the South Tipp League in a closely fought match against Larkspur Cashel. The Team was Elizabeth Hayes, Amy Butler, Bridget Coughlan and Trish Fogarty. Subs were Colette Ryan and Nicole McLoughlin. Our Div 3 Teams and tough semi’s and were unfortunately beaten. A good year all round - Well done to all.

Golden/Kilfeacle Golf Outing - The next Golden/Kilfeacle Golf outing will take place on Saturday, September 22nd at 11am in Cahir Park Golf club. Golf and Competition €20 adults with U/18’s €15. Cahir members €5. 4 Ball Champagne scramble format. All welcome. Food available in club house (not part of price). Nearest pin and longest drive on the day.
