Golden - Kilfeacle

Lifeboat Collection - Thanks to all who contributed to the collection held recently in Golden/Kilfeacle. Thanks also to all who helped. The amount of €517.82 was collected.

Golden/Kilfeacle Senior Citizens - The Annual Church gate collection in aid of the Senior Citizens Christmas party will be held on Saturday 22nd and Sunday, 23rd Sept at both churches. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Golden Bingo - Bingo continues each Thursday night in the Hall with lucky number. Come along to enjoy and chance your luck.

Cardio Fitness Class - Cardio fitness class starts in the Community Hall, Kilfeacle on Tuesday, September 25th for six weeks. Class 7pm to 7.45pm. For further details contact Clodagh (086) 77074882.

Teen Event - Junior Cert Results Night, September 12th in Golden Community Hall 8pm to 10pm. Special guests Rebecca and Shannor, DJ Don. Admission €10. Strictly no alcohol.

Team Quasar - A big thank you from Gerard Barlow and Team Quasar for all your support at the recent coffee morning.

Golden/Kilfeacle I.C.A. - Meetings will resume after the Summer recess on Wednesday, September 12th in the Kilfeacle Community Centre at 8pm. Hostesses on the night will be Tess O’Connell and Betty O’Neill. Prize will be presented by Tess O’Connell.

Going to college in Cork - Student coach will commence on Sunday, September 16th. Bus will leave Cashel at 6.30pm sharp. Transport direct to student accommodation areas. Bus returning every Friday. Contact Mulcahys (062) 61662 or (087) 2522550.

Juvenile G.A.A. - Last weekend Cian O’Connell and Robert Wade were part of the Tipp U/14 Hurling Sonny Walshe panel that played in Waterford. Mitchell Heffernan was a selector with the team. Tom O’Donnell was selector with Toy Forristal Team. Seanie O’Halloran was part of the U/16 Tipp. panel that played in North Tipp. Well done to all.

Alan Price Memorial Tournament - Tournament takes place next Sunday, September 16th. All our U/8s will be there to show their skills and we ask you to come along and cheer them on. Special guest in attendance, with teas and refreshments in the hall for all afterwards. See u on Sunday 16th, Throw in at 5.30pm.
