Award Winner -
Congratulations to Tom McLoughney, Ardcroney, who was the recipient of a Sean Ghael award from the Tipperary G.A.A. board. The presentation took place last Sunday at the Dome in Semple Stadium. Tom won two All-Ireland medals with Tipperary in 1961 and 1962. He also won three Munster medals, two National League medals and two Oireachtas medals. With the Kilruane MacDonaghs club, Tom won two North senior medals and was a selector with the senior team that won three North and County titles in a row in the seventies. Tom continues to be an active club member and he is also Vice-President of the Kilruane MacDonaghs club.
