St. Pio Mass -
A special St. Pio Mass will be celebrated in St. Flannan’s Church, Killaloe on this Thursday at 7.30pm. During this Mass, Tom Cooney who has spent his life making Padre Pio accessible to the sick and suffering through his precious relics will kindly donate his Padre Pio mitten to the people of the parish of Killaloe. This mitten will be permanently placed in a Reliquary in St. Pio Shrine in Killaloe Church where people will still be able to seek the Saint’s intersession. Also at Thursday’s Mass people will have the last opportunity to be blessed with this relic.
Recent Death - Francie O’Grady, Ballymalone, Ballina died peacefully at Milford Hospice recently. Following Requiem Mass in the Church of Our Lady and St. Lua, Francie was laid to rest in Templekelly Cemetery. He is survived by his sisters Kathleen (Kelly) and Mary (Murnane), nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
