Fianna Fáil Leader Micheál Martin TD has led tributes to the late South Tipperary County Councillor Michael Anglim, who died on Wednesday last week.

Cllr Anglim served on South Tipperary County Council as a member of Fianna Fáil since 1991, and had held the party whip up until his death. Deputy Martin commented: “I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Michael yesterday. He was a true gent and was always kind and courteous in everything he did. Michael was a very valuable member of Fianna Fáil and worked tirelessly for the party in his time as a Councillor. He was also a proud Ardfinnan man and was very active in the GAA.
