Local man Gary Sheppard has returned to Templemore College to facilitate ceramics workshops to students in the art and design department.

Gary originally studied interior design in Templemore College a few years ago. He prepared his portfolio for art college under the guidance of his tutor Nicola Welford and was successful in obtaining a place in Limerick School of Art and Design. Gary has since graduated with an honours degree in Ceramics. ‘It is fantastic to welcome Gary back to the college in the capacity as tutor and facilitator’ said his tutor Nicola Welford. ‘I am so proud of his achievements to date and wish him continued success for the future’. Gary has also recently showcased his work in Templemore Library with his exhibition ‘Cois Foroige’. The Interior design course is currently on offer in Templemore College. It is a FETAC Level 5 course and a new FETAC Level 6 course in Interior Architecture commenced this year also. Both courses can be applied for next September through the colleges online applications system www.tcfe.ie.
