St. John the Baptist Boys N.S.

It has been a very busy term so far for all the boys at St. John the Baptist BNS. Over thirty new Junior Infants have settled into their new school and are now busy getting ready for their first concert which will be held in the school hall on Wednesday and Thursday night, December 5th and 6th.

Tickets for the show will be available at the school office and over two hundred and thirty boys will showcase their talent over the two nights.

Unfortunately our U/11 and U/13 football teams were beaten in their respective County Finals but both teams represented their schools with some upcoming stars very evident.

A big highlight of this term was the election of the student council. The old student council members presented the new members with their seals of office. Sean Quinlan was the only outgoing member to be re-elected.

The new council consists of Donal Ryan and Richard Allison from 3rd class, Ross Whelan and Alex Dunne from 4th, Daniel Moloney and Aaron Gibson from 5th and Jak Hayes and Sean Quinlan from 6th. The council have met on a number of occasions and are full of ideas for the coming school year.
