South Tipperary Hospice Cake Sale - Will be held in Parish Hall, Boherlahan on this Sunday, 30th September after 11am Mass. Cakes can be handed in to the hall from 10am. All donations will be much appreciated. The proceeds of the cake sale go to South Tipperary Hospice.

Boherlahan Parish Council - Meeting on Tuesday, 9th October in the Parish Hall at 8pm.

Tipperary Hospice Group - Coffee morning will be held at the residence of Mary Quinn, Ardmayle Road, Freighduff, on this Saturday 29th September from 11.00am to 3.00pm. All are welcome. Please support.

Tidy Towns Competition - The committee were highly complimented for their efforts. Overall marks were up by three points on the 2011 scoring. We are going in the right direction. The committee may be small but the tremendous work put in by a small number of people is to be commended.

November Mass Ardmayle - Sunday, 11th Nov at 3.00pm.

Defibrillator Group - Continue to seek old mobile phones. They can be brought to school and dropped in the special mobile phone box supplied. There is also a box at O’Dwyers Shop, Boherlahan.

Bingo - Bingo continues every Monday night in Boherlahan. Prize money is 1,700 euro nightly so do come along. Buses serving local surrounding areas. Contact any member of the Bingo Committee for further details. Proceeds go towards the upkeep of the hall, the GAA and Senior Citizens. Please support.

Dualla N.S. - Congrats to Dualla N.S on been shortlisted for a National Award for their school website/blog in the best Science/Education Blog category Ireland 2012 ment to be recognized as being one of the top Education blogs in the country. Juvenile GAA - Congrats to the U14 panel who won the Shield competition against Clonakenny last Saturday in The Ragg. They had defeated Moyne/Templetuohy the previous Thursday evening in the semi final. That win gave them great confidence going into the final. They played great hurling on Saturday and took their scores very well. Full match report in the Mid Bord na nOg news. The panel was Jack Maher, John Purcell, Jordan Moore, Jack Moloughney, Bill Byrne, Patrick O’Dwyer, James O’Sullivan (Capt), Cathal Darcy, Bill Byrne, John Ryan, Shane Dwan, Jimmy Cawley, Aaron Sherlock, Cian Bargary, James Kirby, Hugh McCan, Brandon Duffy, Declan Crosse, Mark Downey (injured), Conor Dwan, Cormac Gleeson, Darren O’Reillly. Thanks to the selectors, John, Lar, Pat and Eamon. Some of these players will be involved with the upcoming U13 competition. Last Tuesday evening the U12 second team drew after extra time against Upperchurch in their Shield semi final. A very exciting game down to the final whistle. The replay was in Drombane last Monday evening so hopefully good news next week.

Sympathy - Deepest sympathy is extended to Ann Murphy, Thurlesbeg on the death of her brother Gerard Muldowney, Westport. Sympathy is also extended to Noreen Dargan, Dualla on the death of her brother John Stapleton, Loughmore. May they Rest in Peace.
