Music for Tipperary presents Music for the Golden Vale, featuring contemporary Irish works performed by the National Chamber Choir in Cashel Cathedral, John's St., Cashel on 4 September.
In a programme dedicated specifically to the Tipperary audience and featuring a new work commissioned for Tipperary, the National Chamber Choir will perform under conductor, James Wood and will be joined by traditional singer, Iarla Ó Lionáird.
The world premiere of The Beloved and Her Lover, a specially commissioned work by Irish composer Ian Wilson, will be performed on the evening and the programme also includes pieces by Palestrina, Lesur and Irish composers Rhona Clarke and Elaine Agnew.
